Here you can find cool information about Orizaba, in the mexican state of Veracruz.

This district is formed by 13 Municipalities : Acultzingo, Aquila, Camerino Z. Mendoza, Atzacan, Huiloapan de Cuauhtémoc, Ixhuatlancillo, La Perla, Maltrata, Mariano Escobedo, Nogales, Rafael Delgado, Río Blanco and Orizaba in the head.

The characteristic image of this region, is without a doubt the volcano Pico de Orizaba (Orizaba's Pick) or Citlaltepetl, with 5,747 meters high, it is the highest mountain in Mexico. Equally most of the area, it is crossed by mighty rivers, as the Rio Blanco and the Rio Orizaba, besides having lagoons of crystalline waters in different places.

This area has a relief in general very irregular, with mountains ranges, ravines deep and scarce plane surfaces. A rich vegetation of poplars, red cedars, ceibas, encinos, walnuts, oyameles, pines, oaks and sallows are refuge of squirrels, armadillos, rabbits, badgers, foxes, birds of all type and river fish.

Contrasting with the above-mentioned there are big extensions of cultivation fields and grass areas where cattle species are raised.

The climate presents a great variety, the same thing that the composition of the floors and the productive activities. The region is populated densely and it exists a great development of the agriculture, the cattle raising, the forest and mining exploitation, the industrial companies and the trade. The more populated and more important cities of this region are Orizaba, Cd. Mendoza and Rio Blanco.
